About this guide

More than a franchise blog — an honest, independent guide.

Most “Domino's franchise” pages in India are either lead-farms or thin rewrites of each other. We built this because the basic questions — what it really costs, whether individual franchises are even available — deserve a straight answer.

We are not affiliated with Domino's or Jubilant FoodWorks. We publish sourced ranges with their caveats intact, and we never collect fees or deposits from readers.

Our mission

Give anyone considering a pizza franchise in India the same quality of information a professional investor would demand — free, and without a sales agenda.

How we help

We compile sourced cost ranges, explain the COCO structure, set out what the capital is really committed to, and connect you to options that are actually open.

Why this guide

Independent research. Real numbers. Zero sales pressure.

Every figure on this site carries its source and its caveat. Where the honest answer is “this probably isn't available to you”, we say that instead of selling you a dream.

Store formats

What each store format actually costs to open.

Three formats operate in India, and the investment gap between them is wide. These are indicative ranges compiled from third-party publications — not an offer, and not a price you pay us.

Express / non-traditional

₹50–80 lakh

Indicative total investment

Typical space
200–400 sq ft

Counter-style outlets in malls, campuses and transit hubs. Lowest space and fit-out requirement.

Delivery & carryout

₹60 lakh – 1 crore

Indicative total investment

Typical space
400–1,000 sq ft

The most common format in India — built around delivery radius rather than seating.

Traditional dine-in

₹1–1.5 crore

Indicative total investment

Typical space
800–2,000 sq ft

Full seating and front-of-house. Highest fit-out, staffing and rental commitment.

Indicative ranges as of 2026. Verify directly with JFL — figures vary by city tier and format.

Honest COCO reality

Domino's India is overwhelmingly company-owned. We explain what that actually means for you.

Alternatives that fit

If your capital or city doesn't fit, we'll show you pizza and QSR options that do.

What people ask us

The three questions we get most.

Can I actually buy a Domino's franchise in India today?

Rarely. Domino's India is run by Jubilant FoodWorks and is overwhelmingly company-owned (COCO). Individual sub-franchises are selective and not openly advertised.

Is it actually worth ₹1 crore of my capital?

It depends less on the economics than on availability — and on whether you want to run a restaurant. Royalty and ad fund take roughly 9.5% of sales off the top, so this rewards operators, not passive investors.

What would it realistically cost me?

Between roughly ₹50 lakh and ₹1.5 crore depending on store format and city tier. Treat every figure as indicative and verify it directly with JFL.
